In May 2009 "seven asia" opened its doors as an additional restaurant in the seven-ensemble. The focus of the restaurant concept is the versatility of Asian cuisine. A variety of different zones united in a restaurant reflects and contrasts the rich variety of Asian cuisine on offer. A Sushi-bar is located at the front of the restaurant area, directly behind a revealing, ceiling-to-floor glass façade.
The special feature of the Sushi-bar lies in the detail. The Sushi-dishes are transported to the guest by means of an invisible magnetic mechanism, as if by a ghostly hand, via the glass conveyer belt. At the Teppan-Yaki table, guests are given the unique opportunity to watch the especially aesthetic, almost artistic preparation of Japanese Teppan-Yaki cuisine from where they are seated, directly in front of the preparation area, close to the huge stainless-steel hob.
The creative concept of "seven asia" is emphasised through the modern interpretation of classical Asian elements, such as a sea of paper lanterns on the ceiling, Japanese goldfish or the large Wuhan Gong which is rung on special occasions.
