Eurogress, Aachen
In 2002 the office developed an architectural masterplan for the congress centre Eurogress, Aachen. Refering to the multifunctional utilization of the building for congresses and fairs as well as for concerts and public events the reconstruction enfolds the facade, the public halls and the concert hall.
In the summer of 2005 a new skin made out of curved, metal textured panels will be given to the concert hall combining accustical demands with contemporary design. Featured by the latest technology in lighting the hall will be illuminated in various moods. Colours of light, extending from cool technical blue to warm festive redorange will underline the interior concept as well as the particular utilizations.
