Lufthansa Education Centre, Seeheim
"Lufthansa Seeheim" is distinguished primarily by its prominent location surrounded by nature, and as a high quality training and conference centre. As if on a viewing platform, the visitor moves between the building complexes without visual connection to the surrounding area and consequently doesn’t lose orientation. The zones are clearly divided through material, colour, light and form and interesting free in-between spaces are created. Movement and pause, concentration and relaxation, communication and the possibility of retreat find space here and form a basis for progress, innovation and efficiency.
The complete design project comprises an interior area of 35,000sqm, as well as an outer area measuring over 5000sqm.
The ultra-modern scheme which referenced the Lufthansa brand secured first prize for Bert Haller Interior Architects.
