The smaller than 30sqm seven-sushi restaurant in Ascona came into being in spring 2008. An association with fresh, Japanese specialities is already conveyed in the small bar which is steeped in traditional red and black. The central preparation counter awards an insight into the high art of Sushi making and puts the focus on the essential.
Layers of white Norenn fans hung on the ceiling, juxtaposed with a sea of soft-white paper lanterns of varying size, fill the entire space and impart a feeling of pleasant airiness to the guest. Small silk cushions and bamboo plants reinforce the playful, Asian charm and create an uncomplicated, easy-going atmosphere.
“Inside out”. Here there is the possibility to open the façade completely and seamlessly connect the inner and outer spaces, attracting further analogies to be drawn. Moreover the small water-front terrace with original red and white Siamese screens creates an eye-catching feature of the Lake Maggiore piazza.
